1. Van ‘t Spit:
This ambient lit establishment specializes in chicken! There is a rustic vibe inside this restaurant and its located in a lovely area of De Pijp. The food is great, personnel are friendly. They do not take reservations but the bar is a great spot to hangout if you need to wait for a table.
2. Sjefietshe:
For the ceviche lovers amongst us! Both inside and outside seating is available in this restaurant. They don’t only do ceviche, so if you prefer other fish dishes, you’ll be happy here! Chiche and trendy decor has us recommending this place to anyone hoping for a romantic evening out!
3. Poppy’s:
This female founded spot definitely has a womans touch! The lovely atmosphere is tasteful and on trend! A clean and bright aesthetic makes for a wonderful dining aesthetic. The delicious food and cocktails are something to write home about forsure.
4. De Tulp:
Great place to eat and dance! The inside of De Tulp (meaning the tulip) has a botanical vibe with all the vine and plant-like decor. Their tables inside are comfortable for shared dining with a group or they have smaller tables for more intimate seating. At nighttime on the weekends, the inside turns into a dance floor. Super gezellig!
5. L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele:
The moody lighting and exposed brick wall on the inside gives a very charming vibe to this hip pizza spot in the heart of De Pijp! The full bar and ceiling covered in flowers will make you want to sit inside even if the weather is splendid out on the terrace! As tempting as it is, the location of the terrace makes for great people watching, so choose your spot wisely 😉
