Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all.
— Julia Child

For years, we’ve led hungry travellers through the streets of Amsterdam in search for good food. Now let us connect you to the heart of it all – the kitchen.

We love food. That’s why we’ve created this cooking experience to bring you one step closer to the Dutch kitchen to learn about the ingredients commonly used in the Netherlands. The focus of this experience lays in sharing the joy of cooking, discovering Dutch recipes that are not your usual meat and mashed potato fare, and simply enjoying a wonderful evening with fellow food lovers.

We begin with a hunt for ingredients in the trendy neighbourhood of De Pijp. We’ll visit a number of stalls at the Albert Cuyp Market and learn about their background. After that, we’ll continue our journey to a traditional Dutch brown bar to enjoy a ‘borrel’ (a drink) before we make our way to Marianne’s kitchen. Once there, we’ll be presented with the menu for the evening and start cooking – with a wine in hand.

This is a casual, interactive cooking experience. You’ll be guided as you prepare the dishes. When the cooking is over, we’ll gather at the table to enjoy our labour of love and a drink together, sharing our experiences and indulging in inspiring conversations into the night.
